Cartidge Heaters
Cartridge Heaters are often used as insertion heaters. They are most commonly used to insert into a very precisely bored hole. The heaters are built under sized from their nominal diameter and as energy (electricity) is applied and as they heat, they expand and make contact with the bore. With both imperial and metric sizes, typically we can find a design to best fit your needs. For unique applications we offer a split sheath heater that expands even further to create better contact for oversized bores. These are warrantied against bore seizures for worry free removal.

Split-sheath cartridge heaters
Split-sheath cartridge heaters are frequently used for over size bores. These heaters have a unique design which has two unique "D" shaped heaters that are folded together to form a complete circle. As the heater is energize the split heater expands to meet the bore they are inserted into. Once cooled, the heaters will contract for easy removal.
