The word "Customization" scares some customers because it implies "extra cost".
While in some cases making changes to a heater band, for example, may increase the cost of that item when compared to its original form; but understand that you are paying only for the feature added, you are not paying any more for extra work, engineering or design fees. Sometimes "customizing" a band not only makes it a better fit for your facility and specific needs, it also may actually REDUCE the cost of the item.
Many of our long time customers understand that we do not like to use (or hear) the word "standard". There is no such thing as a "standard" in our industry. What is standard for one person would be unheard of by another. If you say to us that you want "the standard thermocouple" that only narrows it down to about 6 different versions.
The truth is, to a degree, all of the products we sell are "customized" in someway. There is no heater that works for everyone. Not even a single component of a heater works for everyone. So do not be afraid of the word "customization" and certainly do not be afraid to talk to us about items you want "customized" . . . for sure there is no cost to you for us to provide you with a quote.
